About Sue Heinz
Sue Heinz is the owner of Kismet Quilting LLC, and is the author of three books, brimming with fresh design ideas for free-motion quilting and has also designed several innovative marking tools – all to delight, intrigue and inspire. In addition to teaching at guilds and national shows across the country, her designs, books and tools have been featured in online TV and national and international publications.
She brings a Fine Arts and Education background and over twenty-five years of quilting experience to the classroom. Her designs have inspired both novice and expert quilters alike.
Sue lives in White Bear Lake, MN with her husband Tom. They have two wonderful daughters and one awesome son-in-law.
Classes
Sue’s passion is teaching! She teaches at national quilting shows, local guilds, trunk shows and retreats–bringing a sense of humor, design expertise and a commitment to help each of her students reach new levels of quilting excellence. Specializing in free-motion and longarm quilting, Sue shares her unique quilting style and innovative techniques in fun classes using lots of visual aids and easy, step-by-step instructions.
From simple how-to classes that will help any free-motion rookie get started, to designs that will inspire even the most advanced quilters, Sue has classes and lectures that are perfect for all of your needs.
